Not every job needs a crane. This one needed a van, a ladder, an impact driver and a clear plan for where the new circuits were going to come from.
The house is in Winter Park, which tells you something before anyone opens a panel. A lot of the housing stock here predates the way people use electricity now, and a spare bedroom converted into a working office is a load the original design never anticipated. A monitor or two, a docking station, a printer, a space heater in January and a window unit in August, all of it landing on a circuit that was sized for a lamp and an alarm clock. The new box also gives the room a proper fixture point, which is where lighting installation actually begins.
Not always, and it did not here. The Square D had usable space left, so the answer was breakers and the correct wire rather than a service change.
That is worth saying plainly, because a homeowner calling about a home office often expects to be sold a panel. Sometimes that genuinely is the right call. If the panel is full, if it is a brand with a known failure history, or if the service itself is undersized for what the house is now being asked to do, then adding circuits to it is putting good work on a bad foundation.
