Indoor Lighting Services

Recessed Lighting (Can Lights)

Installing recessed lighting is the most effective way to modernize a room. By recessing the fixture into the ceiling, we make your ceilings feel higher and distribute light evenly across the space. This is perfect for living rooms and kitchens where you need consistent brightness without cluttering the ceiling.

Under-Cabinet Kitchen Lighting

Stop blocking your own light while you chop vegetables. Under-cabinet lighting provides focused "task lighting" exactly where you need it, on your countertops. We recommend 4000K LED strips here, as this "cool white" temperature mimics natural daylight and makes food prep safer and easier.

Dimmers and Smart Controls

You don't always need your lights at 100% brightness. We install Lutron dimmer switches and smart home systems compatible with Alexa or Google Home. This allows you to lower the lights for a movie night or set a schedule so your porch lights turn on automatically at sunset.

Outdoor Lighting for Florida Weather

Landscape and Pathway Lighting

We use low-voltage LED fixtures to highlight your favorite palm trees or architectural features. Pathway lights are also essential for guiding guests safely to your front door or around your pool deck after the sun goes down.

Pool and Deck Lighting

Security and Motion Sensors

A well-lit home is a safer home. We place motion-sensor floodlights in key areas, such as side yards and above garage doors, to deter potential intruders and give you peace of mind when you pull into the driveway at night.

The "Wet Location" Rating

This is where local expertise counts. Florida's humidity and daily afternoon thunderstorms destroy cheap fixtures. We only install fixtures with a UL "Wet Location" rating for exposed areas. A "Damp Location" rating is fine for a covered lanai, but if the rain hits it, it must be Wet Rated to prevent corrosion and electrical shorts.

LED Upgrades Save Money

Switching to LED lighting is the smartest financial decision you can make for your home's energy efficiency. According to the Department of Energy, residential LEDs use at least 75% less energy and last up to 25 times longer than incandescent lighting.

LEDs come in different colors, measured in Kelvins (K). We help you choose the right temperature so your home doesn't look like a hospital waiting room:

2700K - 3000K (Warm/Soft White)

Best for bedrooms and living rooms where you want to relax.

4000K (Cool White)

Best for kitchens, bathrooms, and garages where you need clarity.

Why Hire a Pro for Lighting Installation?

Electrical work is not a DIY project; it's a safety necessity. Wiring that's done incorrectly can lead to overloaded circuits, flickering lights, or even fire hazards.

Code Compliance and Permits

In Orange County and the City of Orlando, most significant electrical work requires a permit. We handle the paperwork and schedule the required inspections.

Circuit Load Management

Adding 10 new recessed lights to an existing circuit might trip your breaker every time you turn on the vacuum. We calculate the load on your circuits before we drill a single hole.

The cost typically ranges from $150 to $350 per light, depending on access to the ceiling and whether it's a new installation or a retrofit.

It depends on the scope of work. In Orange County and the City of Orlando, adding new circuits or installing multiple fixtures typically requires an electrical permit. We handle all permitting as part of our service.

Any fixture exposed to rain must have a UL "Wet Location" rating. These fixtures are sealed against moisture and designed to withstand humidity, salt air, and Florida's daily thunderstorms without corroding or shorting out.

A general rule of thumb is one 6-inch recessed light for every 4 to 6 square feet of ceiling space. For example, a 12x12 foot room (144 sq ft) would typically need 6 to 8 lights for even coverage. We can design a layout during our consultation.

Absolutely. We run new circuits from your electrical panel to wherever you need light. This is common for adding recessed lighting in rooms that only have a single overhead fixture, or for installing landscape lighting in a backyard that has no existing electrical supply.
